Republicans Send Insurers Letters Asking Who’s Paid

Republican members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee have sent letters to every insurer participating in the federal marketplace to request specific enrollment data.

If you read this, and I hope you do, I hope you’ll also ask yourself a few questions:


Do you really want politicians asking your health insurance company to tell them whether or not you’ve paid your premium?


Do you appreciate which party is doing the asking and why they’re asking? (Hint: After 52 votes in the House, there’s only one party and one reason why.) 


Will you remember this (and more) come November?
