U.S. Trade Representative, Michael Froman, is now on Twitter.
It’s only been since yesterday, and he doesn’t have much to say. We have his NCAA brackets and he cleverly suggests Cabinet meetings be limited to 140 characters (which might not be a bad idea).
Seriously, do not be shy about sharing your thoughts (respectfully) with him (or any government official) about the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
Here’s a tip on using Twitter.
If you’re starting the Tweet with his (or anyone’s) handle, and you want more than just the recipient and anyone who follows you both to see it, start the Tweet with a period in front of the Twitter handle like in this Tweet I just sent:
.@MikeFroman, I’ve read that #TPP & #TTIP worse than #NAFTA for working Americans. Can you prove otherwise by sharing full text of both?
For info I’ve been collecting about the TPP and TTIP, visit
It’s our country. They work for us. Speak up.
